With aging comes widening. Not just the hips, ladies [& a high population of American middle aged men], but widening of circumstances & lengthening of perspective. You learn that you really just can’t tell someone who’s fixated on what they perceive that they aren’t seeing clearly. You can’t jump to the ever-so common conclusion that your judgements mean another is wrong. You realize that there is no conclusion at all. Your surroundings finally begin to scream what you want them to be screaming. Your eyes finally begin to etch out what you want to turn to vision. You’re able to tip-toe & peak over all these self made walls of limitation. All that stands in the way is the whimsical, disillusioned, wondrous, pitiful & playful… YOU.
