I feel for my people down in Jamaica. It’s truly a hard life from the get-go in certain areas, but the way they live their lives is just so intriguing to me. I understand what it’s like to be from an Island dead center in the middle of the ocean. My dad was born in a little shack in Tonga & got his 1st pair of shoes when he was 16 [they were flip-flops]. It’s 3rd world. It’s not special in a materialistic way, but the roots & ancestry that the people from these nations bleed is just irreplaceable.
